A managed office is a self-contained, ready-to-use office space run by an operator on a business's behalf, typically on a 12 to 48 month agreement. It sits between a conventional lease and a serviced office: private and customisable like a lease, but delivered with furniture, fit-out and services included in one monthly cost.
What is District?
District is a London marketplace for managed and flexible office space. It lets businesses search verified workspace listings, communicate directly with the operators who run them, and arrange viewings, without a traditional broker acting as the intermediary. District launches its pilot in London in January 2027.
How is District different from a broker?
Brokers are typically paid commission by the operator, which shapes what gets recommended. District connects you directly with operators: you see verified availability and pricing, choose what fits, and speak to the operator yourself. District's job is accurate information and a direct line, not steering you toward whoever pays.
Does District cost anything for occupiers?
No. Searching, enquiring and arranging viewings on District is free for occupiers.

How do operators join?
